| BODY WORK |
|
 Elegantly designed and smartly finished, using ms.s angles, channels and sheets of best quality and most suitable sizes, to enable it to withstand maximum wear and tear on dusty and bumpy roads. Out covering of 18 gauge mild steel sheet. ( Other options: outer covering of aluminium or galvanished iron sheet)
- Fixed ladders are provided at the rear for climbing to the vehicle top.
- Protective railings are provided along the lengths of the vehicle top.
- All floors and walking platforms covered with antislip chequer plates.

| LOCKERS |
|
Suitably provided on the appliance to allow maximum space for carrying hoses and other sundries. To protect the stores, lockers are provided with hinged door or roller shutters. Light fitted inside lockers. |

| CONTROL PANEL |
|
Incorporates all necessary gauges and controls; is at the rear when pump is rear-mounted; when pump is mid-ship mounted, control panels are provided on right and left sides of the vehicle. |

| PAINTING AND FINISHING |
|
Body, including cabs is finished in fire engine red. Interior and lockers painted in grey or matching colours. |
|
| SUCTION HOSE TUNNELS |
|
Straight tunnel provided along length of the vehicle or at the roof top, for keeping two lengths of suction hose pipe, 4" x 10' with couplings. |
